We've drastically discounted our author autographed books .

They explain our philosophy that the solution to our cluttering is based on psychology combined with organizing principles.

The Lighter Promises Or Affirmations For Clutterers

As clutterers, we need to have faith that things will get better in relation to cluttering. These lighter promises or affirmations will help clutterers to lighten up, which is not a bad thing. We are way too serious. Clutterless Recovery Groups is dedicated to helping us improve our self=image and understanding the psychological reasons for our cluttering. We do not call ourselves "messies, packrats, slobs" or other derogatory terms. Many of us have anxiety, depression, OCD, ADD or ADHD psychological issues that contribute to our cluttering behavior. These promises or affirmations are usually read at the end of our support meetings, but you can read them anytime you wish. Positive affirmations go a long way to making us feel better. And heck, a smile or two can't hurt!

1.      You will no longer fear repairmen – just their bills.

2.      You will be able to go to the bathroom at night without fear of falling over something.

3.      You will actually be able to shut the door to your bedroom, if not the past.

4.      You will not have to invent excuses for your mess; freeing yourself to find new things to invent excuses for.

5.      You will know where your keys are, especially useful after you have locked yourself out.

6.      Your cat will be able to find his litter box – and stop using your pile of clothes.

7.      Your mother-in-law will be able to stop in for an unexpected visit – and stay.

8.      Your children will have to go outside to play “jungle explorer.”

9.      You will be able to find your children and take their faces off the milk cartons.

10.  You will no longer have an excuse for not having sex with your spouse. But, thankfully, there are still headaches.
